Sidley Austin LLP
Space planning management
MR&A
In partnership with Gensler, an American design office, MR&A coordinated and managed the layout of Sidley premises in Geneva, organized over 900 m2. The new structure had to be more strategic, closer to the World Trade Organization.
Use of corporate colors, red and white, on numerous furniture units but also on wall or partition parts, provided dynamism and aesthetics to the place.
Transformation of the space required the demolition of all existing partitions as they were incompatible with the new layout. The main hall was partially demolished in order to design a new proposal. The coffee corner was equipped with glazed partitions for a better soundproofing. Creation of four meeting rooms, fourteen individual offices and a free access office. A case study room was designed, provided with storage units, and sound insulators. Security measures regarding distances, fire detection, lighting, markings and entrances were adapted and completed in order to conform with directives.
